fast food security guards

Fast Food Security Services –

They are staffed by crews of young adults or adolescents and operate late at night or 24 hours a day. They are predominantly cash-based companies with a high rate of workplace violence against employees. They are strategically positioned on key thoroughfares to provide fast service. Customers will appreciate how convenient this company model is. Unfortunately, this method of operation attracts angry or drunk individuals, robbers, and other criminals.

For all of their locations, most fast-food businesses have devised a uniform security hardware and equipment menu. Video surveillance systems, alarm systems, time-delay safes, reinforced drive-thru windows, and robbery prevention training for the entire crew are just a few examples. Fast-food and quick-service restaurants should design a security plan that is suited to the property’s individual demands and operating conditions.

Baseline Security

Large chains should have a baseline security process as well as a progressive list of add-on solutions for premises with higher crime rates. At this level, there’s no need to design new security solutions or reinvent the wheel. Before feasible security measures can be implemented, a risk assessment must be conducted to evaluate whether the solutions proposed are appropriate given the circumstances.

Obviously, the efficacy of the cycle of security solution assessment and implementation must be continually assessed. If the trend of disruptive and violent crime continues to worsen despite security efforts, the current security plan must be supplemented.

Similarly, if crime rates drop in the presence of security solutions, a lower requirement may be justified if the root of the problem is no longer there. One restaurant, for example, had a serious problem with street cruisers from a vehicle club. It was wonderful for weekend late-night sales, but it was terrible for on-property drinking, customer abuse, and fighting. The number of fights on the property dropped drastically after the city implemented an ordinance prohibiting street cruising. To keep order on the premises, this restaurant ditched its expensive off-duty police coverage in favor of a less expensive uniformed security service. Contact us to request more information.
