Safe Walk programs employ uniformed security officers or the local police to accompany students and faculty who may feel unsafe walking alone on and around campus. XPressGuards security guards provide these services, and we can also provide escorts for hospital employees and volunteers as part of a Safe Walk program. The program offers uniformed security officers seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day.

On request, XPressGuards can also provide additional patrols on campus. Members of our security team are trained to handle students and other common crimes that happen on campus. You can use a combination of both police officers and security guards who work together to serve and protect the University Community. Students, faculty, staff, and visitors can request escorts or security services from XPressGuards.

Members of the police department patrol the campus, but they’re not always available. At XPressGuards, our security teams are ready to work seven days a week, during all academic years and breaks to ensure the safety and security of our campus community. During operating hours, all members and staff can request an escort from one location to another within a University.

Some Night Walk Program arestaffed by the Police Department, uniformed security guards, as well as student employees. Student employees are trained to accompany members of the community while carrying radios and wearing uniforms, but they aren’t allowed to carry weapons. Patrol Security and the Safe Walk Program increases campus security by having patrol security officers and police aides patrol the campus on a daily basis. The Safe Walk Service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to respond to emergencies or priority calls.
